Skin Treatments

Over-exposure to the sun, smoking and a poor diet, as well as genetic or hormonal factors, can have an adverse affect on the skin’s health and appearance. Wrinkles, age spots and unsightly blemishes can occur, particularly as we get older. Other patients may suffer from skin pigmentation, facial flushing/rosacea, or have thread veins on their face or other areas of their body. Using laser technology, our experienced practitioners can revitalise both male and female skin, helping you look as young as you feel.

Patients may also wish to have radiofrequency treatment for skin tightening to improve the appearance of loose or sagging skin. This treatment is particularly popular on the neck, and is also used on the face.

Other treatments include the hyfrecator for the removal of milia, skin tags and moles.

We can also treat other medical complaints such as hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), teeth grinding, migraines and masseter hypertrophy (for jaw reduction) using prescriptive products administered by a specialist prescribing nurse or surgeon.

Our experienced practitioners also specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of acne and acne scarring. This is popular among teenagers as well as adults, with adult acne treatment being one of our most popular treatment areas. Our CO2 laser treatment has been found to be one of the most successful treatments available for acne scarring, with our Manchester clinic being one of the few clinics offering this treatment in the UK.

We also offer more superficial treatments to give the skin a generally more refreshed, healthy appearance. Skin peels and medical microdermabrasion can be used to improve the skin’s appearance and remove imperfections such as blackheads and light pigmentation.

A full list of skin complaints and their treatments that we offer can be found here.

Whether you want to improve your physical appearance for aesthetic or medical reasons, our staff would be happy to hear from you. All of our staff are experienced professionals and any advice that is given at the medical consultation is impartial.
