Dermal fillers to be classified as medicine?

In the wake of the PIP implant fiasco, whereby Transform and Harley Medical, refuse to treat PIP breast implant patients free of charge, the Bristish Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons is lobbing the Department of Health for all dermal fillers to be classified as medicine.
This means that all dermal fillers would need to be prescribe and treated by either nursing prescribers, doctors or Plastic surgeons.
Skin Medical as pleased to report that we employ all three professional class's at both our Manchester and Leeds. It is uncertain at this stage whether this lobbying will be extended to muscle relaxing injections.
