• Q. What is Vaser Lipo and How does it work?
• A.VASER® (Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance) uses ultrasound to break up the fat cells before they are then extracted using suction. The technique was ‘Cleared’ by the US Food Drug Administration in 2002 and has subsequently been introduced to UK as a successor to traditional liposuction. It uses a fine narrow probe with special grooves that emit the ultrasound energy. This energy vibrate the fat cells causing them to burst into a liquid state allowing the surgeon the ability to sculpt delicate areas such as the arms, outer thighs, hips, abdomen more precisely. The effect of delivering the ultrasound is that it doesn’t damage any other structures within the area, such as blood vessels or nerves and as the mechanical effort is less than with conventional liposuction, bruising and pain is minimised, meaning a faster recovery time. Once liquefied, the fat is then removed using a cannula and suction.

• Q. How long does it take to see the results?
• A.Many of our clients see immediate results, while other see continual improvement once swelling has reduced. All patient will received continuous improvement over the coming days and weeks with the final result normally at 3 – 6 months after the treatment.
